ECOFIN explored strategies such as foreign investments, trade policies, infrastructure development, and economic reforms to strengthen the region’s financial resilience. Through informed dialogue and collaboration, the committee has driven impactful solutions that foster long-term economic stability and development in Latin America.
At WIE Conferencia 6.0, the All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) convened to discuss gender-neutral laws and the legal recognition of same-sex marriages in India. The delegates examined the legal challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community, addressing issues related to marriage, inheritance, and healthcare, while exploring the societal impact of inclusive legislation.
Discussions focused on amending existing laws to ensure equal rights, balancing social, legal, and cultural considerations. The delegates highlighted the benefits of legal recognition, including greater social acceptance and strengthened marital rights. Through negotiations, AIPPM worked toward a progressive resolution advocating inclusivity and legal reform in India.
At WIE Conferencia 6.0, the Arab League addressed the agenda “Discussing the Escalation of Tensions in Syria and Its Ramifications in the Middle East.” Delegates analysed the political, economic, and humanitarian impact of the Syrian crisis, focusing on regional stability, security, and socio-economic conditions. The committee fostered diplomatic dialogue and developed strategies for de-escalation and long-term stability. Through collaboration, the Arab League worked towards regional cooperation and actionable solutions to one of the Middle East’s most pressing challenges.
At WIE Conferencia 6.0, the International Press (IP) ensured transparent and objective coverage of the conference, serving as the bridge between committees and the wider audience.
Delegates took on roles as journalists, editors, and photojournalists, providing real-time coverage, interviews, analytical articles, and news reports across various media formats. Beyond reporting, IP critically examined delegates’ positions, key debates, and resolutions while upholding journalistic integrity and press freedom.
By documenting and analysing the proceedings, the International Press played a crucial role in shaping public discourse and reinforcing media’s impact on diplomacy and global decision-making.
