Innovators and Entrepreneurs Club (IEC)
About the club:
IEC is the abbreviation for Innovators and Entrepreneurs Club which works under the Sreenidhi Ascend. This club was established on 7th March 2022 by the students of 1st year. It is a platform for the students who aspire to become an Entrepreneur. The motto of this club is to educate students in many aspects of entrepreneurship emphasizing more on good business ethics, taking right business decisions while maximizing profit.
IEC provides an opportunity for talented students to work in teams on real-world projects proposed by sponsors from industry or the public sector. Each student team, with support from the academic mentor and industry mentor, will work on the project. Subsequent to the proposed projects, students get the opportunity to come up with their own business ideas and will be assigned with a team to work on it.
Objective of the club:
The Club aims to help students to cultivate a startup business idea, teach them basic strategies like estimating costs and writing a business plan, and help them network their ideas toward sources of funding in both technical and non technical areas. Club arranges some expert lectures and seminars from start-up founders or from industry experts. They guide students and resolve many of their queries. The Board members of the club for 2022-23 are:

Events Conducted:
ASCENDIO'22
Innovators and Entrepreneurs club – SNIST organized the first event called ASCENDIO. The main goal of the fest is to encourage start-ups and provide them with a platform to showcase their products. As there is a start-up wave riding across the nation. The club was able to bring 10+ start-ups to the campus which helped to nurture the development of quality entrepreneurs who will be capable of competing in local.
