NCC Motto

The NCC has come a long way to reach its present status and as an organization it plays a pivotal role in grooming the country’s youth to become leaders of tomorrow. Living up to its motto, “UNITY and DISCIPLINE”, it strives in its endeavour to meet all its objectives by bringing together the vibrant youth of the entire country. 

It believes in creating resources for Organized, Trained, and Motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available for the service of the nation.

NCC SNIST’s cadets took the responsibility of creating awareness among students about cleanliness and a citizen’s responsibility for putting his/her surroundings clean. So, they conducted the event “Swachch Bharath Abhiyan” on December 9, 2017. Executive Director, Principal, Head of the Science and Humanities department, and NCC coordinator along with 79 NCC Cadets were deeply involved in this philanthropic activity.

Our NCC Cadets participated in the award ceremony of National Voters Day conducted at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. The Chief Guest of the Ceremony was Shri E S L Narasimhan, Governor of Telangana State. Sixteen NCC Cadets (SD and SW) from our NCC SNIST Wing have shown their interest in making their presence felt in the ceremony.

The NCC Wing of SNIST has conducted our College Republic Day Celebrations on January 26, 2018 to commemorate the 70th Republic Day. Our Executive Director has hoisted the flag and received the salute offered by the contingent. All the teaching, non-teaching staff, and students who participated in the celebrations appreciated the role played by the NCC Cadets in making it a grand success.

A Guinness World Record was set during the Safety Day organized on March 23, 2018 by Telangana State Police and Road Transport Authority at MLRIT, Dundigal, Hyderabad. From our SNIST NCC Wing, 10 NCC Cadets (SD and SW) have shown their willingness with zeal and enthusiasm to be part of the colossal record formation under the Guinness World Record.

Pursuant to the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s call on Swatch Bharath (Clean India) Campaign and Directive from the Ministry, the NCC cadets of SNIST have conducted a rally on May 4, 2018. They created awareness among the students by carrying inspiring slogans on cleanliness. They also motivated the students by cleaning the college premises.

On account of International Yoga Day, our cadets participated in the yoga session conducted at Bison Polo Training Grounds, Secunderabad along with another 1000 Cadets and higher officials of NCC. A program is also organized in the college by our NCC cadets and they taught a few important yoga poses to all the students and made the students understand the importance of yoga.

From our college, 55 cadets(SD/SW) have attended the Annual Training camp-IV conducted by I(T)EME at Bison polo training Grounds, Secunderabad for 10 days. During the camp, our NCC cadets were involved in all kinds of activities. They took part in Cultural and Literary competitions and our cadet R.Hitesh Reddy got second prize in Singing.SW’s got first place and SD’s got Second place in the Kabaddi competition.

National Integration Camps and Special National Integration Camps are conducted to make cadets understand and value the rich heritage of cultures that forge unity despite the diverse languages, traditions and religions of our country. One cadet from our college got selected and took part in that special camp.

In a bid to create awareness against the ill effects of narcotics and alcohol, NCC cadets took out an anti-drug and anti-ragging rally from our college(SNIST) to Yamnampet on  28th July 2018. All the cadets (SD/SW)candidates participated in it. The purpose of foot-policing was to create awareness in society about the ill-effects of drugs and ragging.

All our NCC cadets took part in the 72nd Independence day celebrations with a parade and celebrated the proud moment of hoisting the Tiranga.

Cadets derive immense value through attachment to the Armed Forces units where they experience the functioning and life in military units.  Cadets of all wings go through a period of attachment with respective services of the Armed Forces. From our Institution 13, SDs have attended this Army Attachment Camp. This Camp was held at TS Police Academy, Mehdipatnam from 3rd Sept to 14th Sept 2018.

A Jan Andolan for Swachhata to be observed in the run-up to the 4th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM), i.e. from September 15th to October 2nd, 2018. On 22nd September our cadets organized the swachchta hi Seva program.Lt.col.Bhandari visited and took part in the event.

On 29th September, all the cadets took part in surgical strike day celebrations. Our honorable A O LS Bandari sir visited our college and gave a speech about the importance of surgical strikes. He shared his experiences and inspired all the cadets.

A health camp was organized at station Dharur in collaboration with Rotary Club OfSecunderbad on 21st Oct 2018. 11 cadets from our college took part in that event to render services to the rural people.
