About IQAC

IQAC Overview

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a vital educational wing of the institute that ensures quality enhancement and sustenance.

The IQAC assures all the stakeholders – students, faculty, administrative staff, quality circle members, and society in general – of accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution. The IQAC is responsible for ensuring that the institute’s quality assurance policies and procedures are robust and effective in maintaining and monitoring the standards of academic awards while optimally supporting teaching, learning, and research experiences. It will be a facilitative and participative voluntary system/unit/organ of the institution. It can become a vehicle for ushering in quality enhancement by working out planned interventionist strategies by IQAC to remove deficiencies and enhance quality.

SNIST-IQAC ensures quality technical education to its students. In this effort, the College takes feedback from all the stakeholders to improve the quality of the teaching-learning process. The college also revises the curriculum from time to time with value-added courses and bridge courses to enhance employability and entrepreneurship skills. As a part of this continuous process, revisions are made to the examination, evaluation, and assessment system. Its success depends on its commitment and participation in all the college activities.

The members of IQAC include Student Representatives, Alumni, Heads of the Department, Representatives of Management & Administration, and industry experts.
