Ms. LK Catharine has an MA in English with distinction, and an MA in Political Science, a B.Ed.(English) from Osmania University. In addition, she has also an extramural MA in English from Osmania University. Her unquenchable academic pursuit motivated her to acquire PGCTE (Post-Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of English) and subsequently PGDTE (Post-Graduate Diploma in the Teaching of English), the flagship programmes of the prestigious university – EFL University, Hyderabad.
Ms. Catharine worked as an Assistant Professor of English in the University of Sirte (erstwhile Al Tahaddi University), Sirte, Libya. Prior to joining SNIST, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of English, DBPM PG College for Women, Keyes Education Society, Secunderabad. She teaches courses in English Phonetics, English Language Teaching, English Grammar, and American Literature. Her areas of interest are English Phonetics, English Linguistics, and English Language Education. Thus, Mrs. Catharine has a rich experience of teaching both at tertiary and university levels. Her professional experience includes teaching English to rural, urban, and international students in ESL and EFL contexts. Ms. Catharine is a member of ELTAI, India.
