Dr. Nellutla Jahangeer is a distinguished physicist and academician with over 16 years of teaching and research experience. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Osmania University in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He qualified for the TS-SET (Physical Sciences) for Assistant Professor in 2018 and the Faculty Eligibility Test conducted by JNTUH-Hyderabad in 2011. In 2025, he was awarded a Ph.D. in Physics from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.

Dr. Jahangeer has made significant contributions to the field of condensed matter physics, with a particular focus on multiferroic materials, ferroelectrics, glass ceramics, and bulk ceramic composites. His research has been widely recognized, with 6 SCI-indexed publications in prestigious international journals. He has also delivered numerous oral presentations at national and international conferences and workshops.
