Dr. Manu Gupta has completed her doctorate (full-time) in 2019 from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. Her area of research includes Digital Image and Video Processing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Wavelets, Biometrics, Pattern recognition and Computer Vision. She has more than 40 publications in international journals and conferences. She has received Junior Research fellowship (UGC) for her research work from January 2014 to Dec 2015. She was upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (UGC) in January 2016 till January 2019. She has also cleared UGC-NET exam in 2013. She has guided more than 50 undergraduate students in their projects. In addition to academic rigor, she also holds position of Associate Dean for Trainings at the Institute and works actively for training and placement activities.
