The School of Management Studies was established in the year 2006. SMS has been at the cutting edge of innovation in Management Education. It is a value-driven, tradition respecting B-school and believes in honest, transparent organizational approach, in pedagogy. It is a fine mix of lectures, case studies, field exercises, and group assignments culminating into integrated teaching – learning phenomenon. It has committed, excellent faculty which is one of the core competence of the Institution. Teachers have the flair for Research and teaching. The School of Management Studies has a well-equipped laboratory and Library. It is continuously and rigorously engaged in R & D activity in all the functional areas of Management.

MBA Student Eligibility
Admission into various programmes of SNISTÂ is done through Common Entrance Tests conducted by Telengana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad.
A candidate seeking admission to the two year fulltime MBA programme must satisfy the following criteria
- A pass in bachelor’s degree in any field with 50% for OC and 45% marks for others in aggregateÂ
- Must have qualified in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) conducted by TS State Council of Higher Education, Govt. of TS.
- The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy Local / NonLocal status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations Admission) order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O. Ms. No. 25, dated 20.03.2004 & G.O. Ms.No.108, Higher Education Department, dated 30.07.2005 and its amendments). Govt. orders (G.O.$) issued from time to time in the matter shall be applicable at the time of admissions. The candidates will be admitted on the basis of rank secured at the ICET. a. 70% seats (based on the rank obtained in state level entrance examination-ICET ) will be filled by the Convener TS ICET.
Admissions for MBA (Management Quota)
A. 70% seats (based on the rank obtained in state level entrance examination-ICET ) will be filled by the Convener TS ICET.
B. 30% seats will be filled by the management as per the Rules issued by the Government and guidelines from time to time issued by the TSCHE.
