Department Overview
The Centre for Writing and Communication (CWC) at Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) is dedicated to fostering continuous growth in professional writing and communication for both students and faculty. This innovative wing offers a dynamic range of programs, including workshops, placement training sessions, competitions, and other impactful events aimed at building confidence in English communication. As a highlight, CWC provides a Value-Added Course in Language Proficiency Enhancement for second-year B.Tech. students, enriching their language skills and enhancing employability. Emphasizing personalized support, CWC also conducts one-on-one counselling sessions to assist students in their language learning journey, embodying one of SNIST’s best practices and a true commitment to academic and professional excellence.

CWC Department Responsibilities
- To cater to the needs of students who need help on their communication skills.
- To design & implement tailored programs for the development of language skills in students.
- Help the staff upskill their communication skills.
- Be a guiding hand in framing the curriculum of B.Tech English / soft skills.
- Work in collaboration with the Career Development Center & help in offering Campus Recruitment Training in accordance with the industry requirements.
