Programme Educational Objectives  (PEOs)                         

PEO 1: Graduates will have a strong fundamentals in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer science by which they acquire abilities to analyze, design and develop an optimal solutions using modern tools which helps them to be employable.

 

PEO 2: Graduates will develop an ability to work in a team/ lead a team which needs effective communication skills and knowledge of project management, finance and entrepreneurial abilities.

 

PEO 3: Graduates should have abilities to conduct investigation of complex problems and develop attitude for lifelong learning which will enable them to pursue Higher studies, Research and Development.

 

PEO 4: The graduates must be aware of the engineering professional ethics, the impact of engineering profession on the society and the need for environmental protection and sustainable development.

  1. An ability to apply knowledge of basic sciences, mathematics and engineering in the area of Information Technology.
  2. An ability to design, implement and evaluate a software or software / hardware system to meet the desired needs within realistic constraints such as space and time.
  3. An ability to use the techniques,  skills,  and modern engineering tools such as software testing tools,  data warehousing and mining tools,  necessary for practice as a IT professional.
  4. Program Educational Objectives of Computer Network and Information Security E are:

  • To empower the students by providing necessary knowledge base, critical thinking and problem solving capabilities in  the field of Computer Network and Information Security and allied fields so that they can excel in their profession, in industry, higher studies and Research & Development.

Dr.VVSSS Balaram

Professor & HOD IT Department.

Dr VVSSS Balaram has completed his M.Tech (CSE) from University College of Engineering, Andhra University in the year 1999, He did his Ph.D (CSE) from Osmania University in the year 2009. Dr. Balaram has good industry and teaching experience. He worked in various engineering colleges at Professor and HOD levels.

He is having 15 years experience in teaching including research. He has very strong research foundation and research areas he is interested are Information Security, Data Mining and Image Processing. He is having over 17 research publications in various national and international journals. Currently is working as a Professor and HOD IT Department. His vision, commitment and technical skills had made the department very strong due to which placements in IT department are very good.

 

Dr. Sunil Bhutada

Professor, IT Department.

Dr. Sunil Bhutada has completed his B.E (CS) from Pusad, Amravathi University, Amravathi (M.S.), M.Tech (Software Engineering) from JNTU Hyderabad. He successfully completed his Ph.D. in the area of Data Mining, Topic Modelling from JNTU Hyderabad in the year 2017. He is enriched with both Industry and Teaching experience. He gained experience as Systems Engineer from Indian Rayon and Industries (A Birla Organization) for 3 and ½ years during his formative years. In his teaching experience spanning for more than 20 years he has presented 37 research papers out of which 23 papers have been presented in reputed International Journals were 3 are Scopus Indexed journals and 1 in Taylor and Francis journal. 7 papers have been published in International conferences, 6 in national conferences and many more. One of his research publications “IPV6 Adoption In India” was awarded as the best research paper honored by Technology Research, DUBAI.

Awarded best faculty in SNIST since 2005 which ranks him high in popularity charts. He plays a key role in assessing the various inspections like NBA, AFRC, NAAC accreditation committee’s visits to the college. He has to his credit over 15 guest lecturers for WEKA , Data Mining and Big Data Analytics, Information Security etc. Presently working as Professor and Associate Head for IT Department he plays a major role in smooth functioning of the IT Department.

Dr. Sunil successfully conducted the placement drive and brought Amazon a very prestigious company to SNIST. He plays a vital role for placing the B.Tech students in reputed MNC’s and guides both B.Tech and M.Tech students in getting internships in software industries. He firmly believes in “Teaching Is One Profession That Creates All Other Professions”

Dr. B. Indira

Professor, IT Department.

Dr.B.Indira has completed her MTech(CSE) from Narayana Engineering Technical Campus,  Jafferguda, affiliated to JNTUH.  She has been awarded the Degree of Doctorate of Philosophy  for her reaearch work in Software Reliability in Computer Science and Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University .She is having 6yrs Indutry experience from Nettlinx and IIHT and more than 10yrs of Teaching experience.She has published 3Research papers in International Journals and 1 in International conference.Her areas of interest are Software Engineering and Computer Networks. She is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Currently she is working as Professor in the Department of Information Technology.

Dr. N. Ch. Sriman  Narayana Iyengar

Dr.N. Ch. Sriman Narayana Iyengar (b 1961, 32+ Teaching, 20+ Research Experience, 200+ research publications), holds two doctorates  in Applied Mathematics (REC Warangal) and Computer Science and Engineering (Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, Tamilnadu). His research focus is on security applications in Distributed environment and Analytics. He guided several Ph.D,s M.Tech/M.S/M.Phil/Summer Projects , apart from authoring  text books. He organized conferences/workshops and continuing education programmes.  He served as Keynote speaker/ Invited speaker /plenary Speaker /PCM/reviewer for many International conferences in and abroad. He received 2017-2018 best Teacher Award in Computer Science and Engineering by (RAYAT-BAHARA, GROUP, and CHANDIGARH.) 

 

 
Dr. Kakulapati Vijayalakshmi
 
Professor, IT Department.
 

Prof.Vijayalakshmi Kakulapati is a well known faculty in computer science at Hyderabad She is working as a Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology. She has two doctorate degrees and four PG Degrees. She is a member of various professional bodies like IEEE, ACM, CSTA, LMISTE, LMCSI, IACSIT, FIETE, Big data University, IOT Central, Data mining research group, Microsoft research group, IBM research group and few more. She is serving as an Editorial Board member to various International and National journals. Apart from these she is continuously serving couple of National & International Conferences as a review member and various International Journals including IJCT and Egyptian Informatics Journal. Track manager for  ICTIS, ICCII and ICDECT conferences and member in Board of Studies.

She is having more than 55+ publications in National, International Journals and conferences. Out of these 13 are Springer Chapters, 3 book chapters, 2 ACM, 2 IEEE and 1 in Elsevier. She took active role in two National Conferences and four International Conferences as Session chair. She has been received an Excellence in Research award from INDUS foundation and appreciation awards for high impact factor publication and conducting e-learning programs. She gave 12+ guest Lectures on “Information Retrieval Systems, Advance data mining and Big data analytics” in various engineering colleges. she organized various Workshops include AICTE sponsored and DST sponsored workshops.

 

Dr. C. Mukundha

Associate Professor, IT Department.

Dr. C. Mukundha has completed his B.Tech in Information Technology in the year 2006, he did his M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University in the year 2010 and then successfully completed his Ph.D in Computer Science in the year 2015 from Techno Global University. Dr. C Mukundha has very strong programming skills and he is a sun certified java professional.

 

Dr. K. Kranthi Kumar

Associate Professor, IT Department.

Dr. K. Kranthi Kumar did his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in the year 2003, M.Tech in Computer Science from JNTU Anantapur in the year 2007 and received Ph.D in faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in the area of Image Processing from JNTUH Hyderabad in the year 2017. He is Microsoft Certified Professional in MCP and MCAD in the year 2008. He is Fellow/Senior/Member in various International and National professional bodies. He is Published more than 60 research papers in International and National journals and conferences. Out of these 12 papers are published in IEEE explorer, 2 in Springer and 1 in Elsevier. He is serving as an Editorial Board member/organizing committee member to various International and National journals and Conferences. He is the reviewer for the prestigious IEEE transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Access journals and IEEE Conferences.

Dr. Kattamuri Sreerama Murthy

Associate Professor, IT Department.

Dr.  Kattamuri Sreerama Murthy is a well known faculty in Information Technology Hyderabad, received Ph.D in Computer Science & Engineering in the area of Intrusion Detection systems from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.  He is working as a Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology and having around 11 years of teaching experience.

He is having more than 30+ publications in National, International Journals and conferences. Out of these 3 are Springer Chapters. He guided 30+ UG Projects, 8 PG (M.Tech) Projects in the area of Data Mining, networks and IOT. His area of research includes Data Mining, mobile networks and IOT. He is interested in expanding the breadth and the depth of research into other related areas or fields of study. Currently He is working with Python programming, Big Data Analytics and Internet of Things.

Editorial Board member/organizing committee member to various International and National journals and Conferences. He is the reviewer for the prestigious IEEE transactions on Image Processing, IEEE Access journals and IEEE Conferences.

Dr. Shaik Subhani (10+ Teaching, 4+ Industry Experience, 6+ Research Experience, 18+ research publications), holds one doctorates  in Computer Science and Engineering (ANU Guntur). He did his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Andhra University Visakapatnam in the year 2002, M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from JNTUH Hyderabad in the year 2007 and received Ph.D in faculty of Computer Science and Engineering in the area of Image Processing from ANU Guntur in the year 2018. His research focus is on Data Mining and Image Processing applications. He is having 4+ Industry experience from Magnasoft Technologies and more than 10yrs of teaching experience. He has published 11+ Research papers in standard international journals and 6+ papers published in National and International conferences. His areas of interest are Data Mining, Soft Computing and Image Processing. He received best teacher award in 2015-16 academic year. He guided several M.Tech /B. Tech Students. He is actively involved in various academic activities such as coordinator for coordinator for NAAC and NBA.

Dr. D. Teja Santosh

Associate Professor, IT Department.

Dr D.Teja Santosh is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology. He holds a doctoral degree in the faculty of Computer Science and Engineering from JNTU Kakinada in 2017. He is a member of various professional bodies of International repute namely IEEE, ACM, CSTA, IAENG. He is one of the board members of IJRICS journal of SPRG. He served as a reviewer for two International Conferences namely IEEE ICACCI, Kerala, India in 2015 and ACM 2nd International Conference on Computer Science and Application Engineering, China in 2018.

He is having more than 25 publications in the form of Book chapters, National, International Journals and conferences. Out of these 2 are World Scientific and INTECHOpen book chapters, 2 Springer, 3 IEEE International Conferences and 18 national and international journalas.

He is received two international awards “IRDP Best Researcher Award 2018” and “Innovative Scientific Research Professional Malaysia 2018”, for his research and innovation work in his area.
